First Year Council (FYC)
FYC is a group of first year UGA students, who work closely alongside Committee and the executive board to plan and execute event day. It is a great way for first years to get involved both on-campus and within the Athens community.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a first-year student
- Attend Wednesday weekly meetings throughout the fall semester
- Assist in fundraising and recruitment efforts
- Raise at least $100 for the organization
- Serve as a mentor on event day and also assist the executive board

If you are a Freshman in Fall '25, you can still participate in SWAB as a Mentor!
